Ceramics Classes and workshops
Hand Building Workshops
There are many different hand building techniques you can try during a workshop with Jane. We like to mix things up a bit in the potting shed so don’t be surprised if we use a variety of creative construction and decorating techniques.
You will learn the basics and also be encouraged to have a bit of a guided pottery adventure, exploring your own creative ideas so that you achieve something fabulous.
All work is fired and glazed and will be ready to collect or be posted to you within 2 – 3 weeks of your visit. Postage will be an extra cost to be paid on the day.
Classes cost £18 per session and this is paid termly. Class fees include all materials and firings. If you are making huge items, or bringing in extra work there will be a separate charge for firing.
Please pay by cash, cheque or card – in person, at the beginning of term. I don’t currently accept online payments for regular classes.
Classes get quite booked up but people do come and go so you might be lucky or I can put you on a waiting list and contact you when a space becomes available.

You can book a minimum of two hours private tuition with me for £75 if you would like a one to one learning experience – perfect for throwing tuition.
I can get most people to throw a pot in their first session!
